About to Lose Their Jobs of the Day: KARK Employees Participate in Broadcast News Parody on YouTube.

It seems that a group of bright individuals at KARK news of Little Rock decided that a Broadcast News parody would be hilarious, and they were right! However, they probably shouldn’t have filmed and participated and recorded the videos at the actual KARK newsroom and station.

We have to say, they are pretty damn funny and very dry, but I don’t think they will be the next big thing on Youtube. Especially considering they have taken them down.

KFSM Channel 5 in Fayetteville Parks it’s Van Down IN The River!

Can you imagine the feeling of going to cover a story like any other normal day, except this time you have to explain to your boss why the News Van is now in the White River…

Well, some of the KFSM Channel 5 crew has to do just that. As of right now there hasn’t been any reported firings, but I guarantee there were some official ass chewings.

Apparently the crew parked the van, and aren’t sure exactly how it ended up in the river. Really this is your story, you could have at least pulled a Michael Scott and blamed it on the GPS. “Well Boss, it told me to take a right turn.”

Pulaski Academy Gets its STUCK UP On! :

If you are wondering if your town is safe or not, well….ask Pulaski Academy.

PA has decided that the Helena-West Helena area is not safe enough for their band, so they will not be attending the upcoming game in the area.

What we find funny, is that they aren’t sending the band, but have no problem sending a football team into such a “rough area.”

A pretty pissed off band parent takes on the schools decision via their blog. In which they state that it is the Greenwood people that PA should be worried about….

“I will also admit that I have felt far more threatened by the Greenwood fans than by the Helena fans. Those people were scary, and they left their beer cans all over the school when they left.”

So basically, they say the school is wrong for determining that a town is unsafe for the children to visit, but calling another group of people “scary” is cool…why is it cool? Cause you’re a PA parent. In the end, PA will always be the elitist stuck up school. How do we know this? Once again, cause it is Pulaski Academy! If they weren’t, their kids would be going to public school. So don’t be upset when PA decides your town isn’t fit for their band.

Two Pit Bulls Terrorize Vehicles in Fort Smith! PSA: Park Your Cars in a Garage Dammit!

Police in Fort Smith responded to a call Sunday morning that left them shocked to find two Pit Bulls on top of the hood of a car. Police are not sure why the dogs decided to treat the car like their favorite chew toy, but they successfully ripped half the bumper off.

If this only happen long ago, we would have realized that the best punishment for Michael Vick would have been to watch his fighting dogs tear apart all the vehicles he had purchased prior to serving time.

Big John Daly is dropping the “Big” Part, But Says He is Still JD

If you were watching the Arkansas game this weekend, you might have been more interested in the quick shot of John Daly’s skinny ass, than the actual game. Some people may not have even recognized the golf legend.

According to JD’s twitter, as of 10-22-09 he was down 95lbs.

Daly had a little help with the Lap Band, however it has been reported that he has been living a much more “healthy” lifestyle.

When T.O. is chiming in on the “questionable” calls made by the refs in Saturday’s Arkansas v. Florida game, you know that something is going on.

Late in the game Saturday, there were a few calls that had Arkansas fans wondering, “Did that just happen?” Well, apparently it did, and it wasn’t just Arkansas fans wondering.

Apparently back in August, Mr. Pierce decided it would be a great idea to approach an undercover cop at tell him he can perform sexual acts on him. Oh yeah, he had drugs on him too.

So here is the gist. A Vilonia policeman decides he is going to party a bit at the Conway VFW. After the off duty officer gets in a fight with the staff and others, the police are called, the Conway police I should say.

One of the responding officers ends up being the brother of the drunken Vilonia man.

After multiple requests to calm down and quit being so defensive, the brother decides he has no other choice than to TASE him! Then arrests his own brother! Damn, this dude isn’t playing around. I bet the drunk brother wished he had never stole the front seat so much as children.

This gives a whole new meaning to, “Don’t Tase Me Bro!”

Wow Little Rock National Airport, You Really Suck. Ranked 18th WORST for Late Arrivals:

This isn’t the first time we have posted about Little Rock National Airport, hell, this isn’t the first time this WEEK we have posted about LR National.

First is was just now upgrading from their current VCR based security system, now it is the fact that they rank 18th worst for late arrivals. This according to the report “Expect Delays: An Analysis of Air Travel Trends in the United States.”

The report does go on to say that it really isn’t LR National’s fault. It’s the delays at the other metropolitan airports that are f’ing everything up for LR.

It’s 2009 People, Who Steals a Freaking Horse!?

There is a $3,000 reward for a horse that was stolen in Lonoke County early this week.

So this horse was chilling in a trailer on Highway 38, next thing you know, they are gone. Has anyone considered that we aren’t giving this horse enough credit. Who’s to say that the horse didn’t haul the trailer off itself. It’s probably roaming free out west by this point.

Anytime it is News That You Are Upgrading Your Security System, It's Probably a Little Overdue:

I can just see it now, it could be a quote in a movie. “Still using tape. Where are we, Moscow?”

Nope, Little Rock National. Who by the way just got a technology grant of $5.9 Million to upgrade from their current VCR system.

VCR, really, that brings up some memories.

Back to the point. Little Rock National is getting a boost in technology, going to a closed-circuit television system. There are a few other airports on the list, so we don’t have to feel too bad. Chicago Midway International being one of them, you know, where they wanted to hold the Olympics.

Holy Shih Tzu! 100 Dogs and a Full Day Later, They Are Still Counting:

A Johnson County residence was called a “puppy mill” after complaints led police to the residence that held nearly 100 Chihuahuas and shih tzus.

Located just outside of Lamar, apparently a couple of women were breeding the dogs to sell. Authorities are still pulling dogs out of the house this afternoon. For more on the story, head over to KTHV.com.
